FAQ-My Story :)

Anonymous asked: I'm 14 and I've hated my nose for as long as I can remember. It's not freakishly oversized, but it is definitely bigger than average and very upturned, and the end is sort of bulbous. Recently, though, I've come to realize that it makes my face unique and actually complements my other features. Reading your blog helped me realize that my nose makes me beautiful despite what I've always believed. <3

That is so wonderful! I’m very happy to have helped you realize the beauty in your nose. No matter what your nose looks like, it’s your nose. You should have no reason to hate it. It is so special and unique to you. No other nose would ever look as beautiful on you :)

Anonymous asked: I sent you an ask, did you get it?

Oh yeah! Was yours about the guy? I was planning to answer it on my other blog. I’ll make it into a text post and answer it there. Check there tomorrow or tuesday and I should have it answered.

-Oh yeah! Someone has submitted this to me before! It makes a great point. There is a big need for a Disney Princess with a big nose. I hope there is one soon :/

Hey, I have submitted here before, but one of my friends took this picture of me randomly and I wanted to share it with you since now I am much more confident about my nose, and this blog has helped me a lot (:
-I’m so happy for you! I’m very glad to have helped you gain confidence in your appearance. I bet it feels awesome to not totally hate a picture of your profile. You can just relax and enjoy being you. You don’t have to be so worried about someone seeing your nose. Well that is just great and thank you for sharing the picture :) It is just beautiful!

Dear most wonderful blog,Please help me feel better about my life destroying bulbous nose.

-Your nose is only life destroying if you let it be life destroying. But it doesn’t have to be. If I honestly wanted to, I could make my pinkie finger life destroying. If you think about it enough and worry about it enough, then if will most likely destroy your life. It destroys it by not letting you think about other things or walk around like you are uncomfortable in your skin. However, if you just tell yourself and decide with yourself that your nose is no big deal, then it wont be. You have all the power to change your nose from being life destroying to just being a nose. All it is, is just a nose. A nose has no feelings or desires. It isn’t trying to destroy your life. You are the one who is forcing it to destroy your life. It’s just sitting there trying to help you breath and smell and you are putting such heavy blame on it. It is just a bunch of cartilage in the shape of your nose. And that shape is what is so unique about it and what shouldn’t be seen as something horrible. It’s just another part of you, but it’s a special part. It links you to your ancestors. As does everything else about you. You are such a special and unique mix. No one else can look exactly like you. I think that is the most amazing thing. Embrace all of your uniqueness and embrace all that your family and past families gave you. You are that final product of a long line of two different families coming together. So here you are. You are here today to represent yourself and your heritage. Your nose is a part of that and apart of your identity. It’s very special and you should always appreciate everything about yourself. Whether society tells you it’s okay or not, appreciate it all. Without your hair or your shoulders or your eyes or your fingers, you wouldn’t be you. So for anyone (even you) to tell you that one of those things isn’t something attractive or that it’s ugly, well that is just not right. There is nothing wrong with any body part that you have. And none of your features are destroying your life. You have every capability of continuing through life with that nose. It will never be able to stop you from doing anything, well as long as you don’t let it. You. Are. Beautiful. And be sure to remind yourself of that. We tend to forget sometimes.

Everyone has ALWAYS picked on me for my nose. If someone has to insult me it is ALWAYS my nose, nothing else, because they can’t find anything else, but the one thing I am insecure about and can not change.. my parents and my boyfriend both tell me “it’s not even big” or “it’s cute” but I don’t think so, it’s larger than every feature on my face and makes me look…funny, why else would people make fun of me for it? and I’ve honestly considered a nose-job, and I’m only seventeen.

But, I have started to realize it just makes me more unique than others, and this blog is great, thank-you so much for it!!

-I can’t see your nose that well in this picture, but you are really beautiful. Don’t let mean comments get you down. You need to learn the act of just not caring what other people think. You are so pretty, the only reason I could think of for people bullying you is that they are resentful of you being pretty. There is always that pretty girl that everyone else needs to say something is ugly about them to feel better about themselves. I literally hear that kind of stuff everyday. There will be this girl getting some attention from guys and another girl will say “well she has bad skin” or “she has bad hair, she’s not THAT pretty”. So you shouldn’t take comments so seriously. Every feature that is yours is made specifically for you. Nothing about you is there to make you feel horrible or make you look ugly. Everything about you makes up the person you are. Just be positive and say positive things to yourself in the mirror and nothing negative will ever hurt you. You can rise above the negative comments and come out stronger! I’m so glad to hear my blog is helping you and I think one day you will learn to love your nose. Despite what anyone says, you should just always know that you are beautiful. Don’t allow anyone to make you feel bad for being who you are. There was no one else you could have been!

Hi, this is a picture of one of my best friends, Natasha. Recently she’s been having a hard time and I was hoping you could post this picture of her to remind her how beautiful she is. I know she doesn’t like her nose because she doesn’t think it fits her face and she thinks it’s ugly. I think it’s one of the many things that make her so beautiful and unique.
-She’s gorgeous! That’s great you are trying to make her feel better by submitting her picture. I just hope she wont be mad it’s here! But what’s to be mad about when she is as beautiful as she is! She has a wonderful and unique nose that just compliments her smile so well! Just keep on smiling and nothing can keep you down ;)

I first started noticing my nose about 3-4 years ago when a friend said something about it and ever since then i’ve been hating it everday. I hate people looking at me from the side, saying things about it and even denying that it’s bad because i know it is.I just want to not care about it but i don’t know how to when it’s just right there on my face.
-Oh your nose is great! It has such a unique shape to it. I love the way the bridge curves and it makes your nose look a bit like it is defying gravity. Idk, but super beautiful. You shouldn’t be ashamed of such a beautiful piece of work by nature itself :) You need to see your nose in a positive light and then all the negative comments and thoughts wont effect you or even be there. But you know, maybe that first comment that really got you hating your nose wasn’t actually meant in a bad way. I mean it was your friend that said it. Friends could care less about your nose. They hang out with you because you are awesome, not because you are perfect. Just keep in mind that people will always appreciate the person that you are and there is nothing more real or more you than your nose and all of your other natural features. If you weren’t you, then who would be? You wouldn’t exist. Just be glad you exist and make the most out of your time here :) Don’t spend your whole life worrying about a beautiful feature such as your nose. Those who love you will also love your nose, and that is what really matters,
